RACE REPORT: EXTREME CHALLENGE BOSNIA 2026

Didi Rudolf wins the
Extreme Challenge
in Bosnia again
Just one week after finishing third overall at the 2026 Red Bull Romaniacs, Dieter “Didi” Rudolf was back on the start line.
At the second edition of the Extreme Challenge: Gold Rider in Zavidovići, the X-GRIP Racing Team rider won both the City Prologue and the 65-kilometre off-road race.
City Prologue
The event kicked off with another spectacular City Prologue featuring big jumps and technically demanding obstacles. A less-than-perfect qualifying run initially left Didi in fourth place.
However, the GASGAS rider quickly found his rhythm in the following heats and fought his way into the floodlit Main Event. A perfect start saw him take the lead immediately.
Italian rider Sonny Goggia passed him on the second lap, but Didi stayed close and reclaimed the lead on the final lap. He secured victory in the City Prologue for the second year in a row.
Off-Road Race
On Sunday, Didi started the 65-kilometre off-road race from fourth position. He caught the leading riders in a slippery riverbed and worked his way into second place.
Heavy dust made the chase more difficult, but Didi managed to close the gap again. After the fuel stop, he took his chance, moved into the lead and quickly pulled away.
With a clear track ahead, Didi controlled the race all the way to the finish and secured another commanding victory.
Two days of racing, two wins. Didi Rudolf repeated his success from the previous year and delivered another international victory for the X-GRIP Racing Team.
